South Windermere, Waterhead Race
​
Join South Windermere SC ‘s fleet of K1’s for their annual Waterhead Race on Sunday 8th June. The one race a year that takes in the whole of Lake Windermere with a course length of approximately 20 miles, all of which give stunning views of the fells whilst practicing dealing with wind shifts, dodging ferries and tourists in hire boats
Join us for Saturday afternoon informal club racing and getting used to the lake

Motorhomes
There are a limited number of Motorhome parking places and they have all now been allocated
There will be hot food available on Saturday evening in the clubhouse at a reasonable price.
Bring your own drinks.
Travellers Trophy
The results the travellers trophy will be extracted from the overall results as if there were no other boats racing and it was a K1 only race.
Beat your Predicted Place
Provided we meet the minimum number of entries for BYPP, BYPP prizes will be awarded. As entries are on the day it may be that the Predicted Place rankings may only be available just prior to the start
