Car Parking
Parking at the K1 Nationals
Friday 18th September to Sunday 20th September.
We appreciate that some members have been trying to assist competitors with parking for this event.
We have established the following:
All the parking in the carpark in front of the Royal Torbay Yacht Club is owned by Torbay Council and known as the Beacon Quay Carpark. This includes all levels of the Car Park with or without height barriers.
Address
Torquay Harbourside, Beacon Hill, Torquay, TQ1 2BG
The Royal Torbay Yacht Club has reserved part of the Car Park for our use during the event. Car Parking fees are payable as set out above.
No Motorhomes are permitted in the car park.
We have been made aware that some events previously have paid the Torbay Council a significant sum of money for exclusive use of the car park and as a result motorhomes have been parked in the Car Park with an appropriate amount of space between each vehicle.
We have not made such a request to the Council or offered to make a payment. We are, however, extremely grateful to the Royal Torbay Yacht Club for making an agreement with the council for us to have spaces available for competitors to park their cars. This will be in the area closest to the harbour and the sea and signs will be in place to direct competitors to the correct part of the car park. Remember you still need to pay.

Provisional Predicted Places for Nationals BYPP
The above may be subject to amendment if we receive late entries.
We welcome Shaun Curtis, Nick Harris to the K1 fleet and we welcome Garry Phare back to the fleet. He left before we started the BYPP calculations.
All will have their Nationals results included for BYPP at their next event.
Buddy Pairings for Nationals
Here are the proposed Buddy Pairings for the Nationals along with a guide to being a good buddy. It also works much better if you are next to your buddy in the boat park (along the quay). So we have created a boat parking plan for the quay. The beach crew will help you find your spot for the weekend.
