The following is just an initial outline programme.
It will change and develop as planning the Rally progresses.
There will be something for everyone and ideas welcome.
The following is not in anyway intended to be prescriptive. Feel free to dip in and out as it suits you.
Sunday 17th May
For those sailing at the
Inlands at Burton SC
They have kindly agreed we can stay there at the club after racing on Sunday until the following day
Monday 18th May
Head towards Ullswater and meet up at
Waterside Farm Campsite
Tuesday 19th May
Sail on Ullswater
We had a fabulous sail last year the length of Ullswater and back
We launch from the campsite.
Rally Bar-B-Que
Wednesday 20th
Free Day and make our way to
Bassenthwaite
(about a 45minute drive)
stay at Herdwick Croft Campsite​
where there are also luxury Lodges
Thursday 21st
Sail from Bassenthwaite SC
Depending on how many there are of us we can have access to the club and launching facilities for £110 for the day or
£15 per person, launching only.
To be confirmed but this should also include the permit to sail on the lake
Friday 22nd
Travel to Coniston
(About a 70 minute Drive and 30 mins to get round the tight entrance)
Saturday 23rd and 24th
Sail in the Coniston SC regatta
Part of the Northern and National Travellers series
Monday 25th May
You are welcome to stay and sail from the Sailing Club on Monday or make your way home.

There is lots of accommodation available in the Lake District

I anticipate a number of people will be in motorhomes and I shall be establishing a list of places to book so we are all together. For those who might like to give motorhoming a go with people around to help and guide, then consider hiring a motorhome for 10 days. As well as commercial hire companies, owners also rent out their motorhomes and many have towbars fitted. To find out more try Camplify
