Sailing first began at Upper Bittell in 1918. In 1920, the lakes at Barnt Green came up for sale for £5,000 and were purchased by a group of far-sighted local people. They each put in £100 and formed the limited company of Barnt Green Waters Ltd, whose sole business was the maintenance of the property.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 25th April.

Club gates open at 9.00am.

Bacon rolls , coffee and snacks will be available on Saturday. And of course a friendly bar.​​
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead

Travellers Trophy
This event is the third Open Meeting in the 2026 Calendar and is the second of the Midland Travellers Trophy series.
