Bala Sailing Club
The club lake and surroundings offer a wonderful environment for you to enjoy your sailing experience and more. The mainly South-westerly winds provide excellent sailing conditions and the well equipped clubhouse, rescue and bespoke training facilities make Bala one of the most popular sailing venues in the UK.

2 Day Event
Long Distance Racing the full length of the lake
1pm Start on Saturday (4hrs),
11am Start on Sunday (3 hrs)
Bar and food on Saturday evening
Two classes - Standard time limited Handicap for mixed fleet

Travellers Trophy
The Bala Long Distance Race is hosting our own Long Distance Race within their format.
In line with other events where we extract the K1 results we shall be again doing this to create a result which will count towards the Class Travellers Trophy
The way we shall be doing this is to add the total time taken by each K1 competitor in each race and adding them together to create a time on which we shall decide the finishing order.
