Sunday March 21st Exmoor Beastie.

The Beastie is an annual signature event that takes place in early Spring.
It is a three-hour pursuit race where racers typically follow the complete outline of the lake. The slowest boats are the first to set off based the Portsmouth Yardstick standard handicap system.
If you're wondering how the race became known as 'The Beastie', in part it derives from the legenadary 'beast of Exmoor' - but mostly it is due to the variable weather and 'interesting' sailing conditions often encountered in the Spring.

Sunday 13th June open meeting and Midlands area championships
